Originally a rural fishing hole in the heart of Los Angeles, the Sportsmen's Lodge of Studio City became a big-time hotel in the 1950s, home to countless weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and birthday parties. The establishment still has the rustic theme, with log beams, gas lamps, pine-covered walls and 10 event rooms, with names like the "Empire," "Waterfalls," and "Caribou." The Lodge has three outdoor decks, with lots of animals, garden shrubbery and waterfalls.
